Supporting front-line hospital workers during the pandemic

supporting front line hospital

Since March 2020 our weekly fresh fruit baskets normally enjoyed by colleagues onsite in our Basingstoke and London offices, instead were re-deployed to benefit front-line workers at NHS sites, particularly in the London area which was most heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Arranged by our fruit supplier and with the support of other companies doing the same, Fruitful Office delivered over 100,000 portions of fruit to NHS workers at 20 sites in February 2021 alone.

Rather than cancel our weekly fruit subscription, we chose to support those at the heart of our communities across the pandemic, by offering healthy snacks for front-line workers to enjoy during or after their shift.

In addition, Fruitful Office has committed to plant one fruit tree in Malawi, Africa for every fruit basket our colleagues consume. The Group’s updated quarterly on the impact our food basket purchases are having. They work in conjunction with RIPPLE Africa (Charity No. 1103256), a UK charity working in Malawi
