Tom Ground

Experience:

Tom joined Phoenix Group in January 2021. Prior to joining Phoenix Group, Tom was Managing Director of Annuities & Equity Release at Aviva Plc where he led the growth in their Annuity (individual and bulk) and lifetime mortgages businesses. He previously held roles at Legal & General and at Accenture plc in strategy consulting and transformation planning.

Tom lives in London and is married with three children. He enjoys golf, theatre, skiing and squash.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Manages Phoenix’s £40bn annuities.
• Oversees the design, distribution and administration of solutions across three markets; Individual Retirement, Mortgage Solutions and Defined Benefit solutions.
